Christmas Jumper Day 2017!

Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day is all about raising money for a great cause whilst donning a bright, cheerful festive jumper!

Christmas Jumper Day fell on Friday 15th December, however this was Sue’s day off and we couldn’t let her miss out on the fun, so today we have put on our best Christmas outfits and enjoyed a fun filled festive day! Jedd, Jordan and Jake all have Christmas themed jumpers with a dapper bow tie, with Sam and Sue styling the matching skirts with lights and fancy hats! Marcus was a very proud Santa for the day, and Becky was an Elf (just like the movie)!

We have all made our donation by texting MERRY to 70050 to support Save the Children. Save the Children work in 68 countries around the world including the UK. They work across the UK to support young children living in poverty by improving their early learning – narrowing the gap between these children and their better-off classmates. Worldwide, they also work to protect vulnerable children whether they’re living on the streets, in refugee camps, or in institutions. Other work they do includes fighting for children’s rights, helping malnourished children survive and thrive and working to improve medical care in poorer countries. This is such a wonderful charity to support and we have thoroughly enjoyed looking silly for the cause!
